he Hoymiles LB-16D-G3 51.2V 314Ah 16.08kWh LiFePO4 Battery is a high-capacity low-voltage energy storage solution designed primarily for residential solar and backup power applications. It combines a large 314Ah LiFePO4 battery cell configuration with integrated protection, flexible installation options and expandable storage capacity.A single LB-16D-G3 battery provides 16.08kWh of total energy at a rated voltage of 51.2V. For larger energy storage requirements, up to 16 battery units can be connected in parallel, increasing the total system capacity to a maximum of 257.28kWh. This makes the battery suitable for both standard residential backup requirements and larger expandable energy storage systems.The battery supports a maximum continuous charging and discharging current of 157A, while the peak charge and discharge current reaches 235A for 10 seconds. Hoymiles recommends a depth of discharge of 90%, helping provide a balance between usable battery capacity and long-term performance.Safety features include integrated overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and undertemperature protection. An integrated DC breaker is also included. An optional heating function allows charging at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius, depending on the selected configuration.The LB-16D-G3 is rated IP65 and is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. It can be installed as either a wall-mounted or floor-standing battery, while optional wall-mounting brackets and wheels are available.
