The Hoymiles HIT-20L-G3 20kW Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter is the highest-capacity model in the supplied HIT-G3 series. It combines three-phase hybrid operation, low-voltage battery compatibility and substantial PV oversizing capability.The inverter supports up to 40kW of recommended PV capacity, equal to twice its rated AC output. Four independent MPPT trackers are provided, each supporting up to 20A input current. The PV operating range extends from 150V to 900V, with a maximum input voltage of 1000V.The battery connection supports Li-ion and lead-acid batteries operating between 40V and 60V. Maximum battery charging and discharging current is 350A.For backup operation, the inverter provides 20kW continuous output and can deliver up to 40kVA apparent power for 10 seconds, provided sufficient PV and battery power are available. It supports fully unbalanced three-phase loads and allows each phase to supply up to 50% of the inverter’s rated output.The HIT-20L-G3 also features smart fan cooling, IP66 protection, integrated DC and AC Type II surge protection, optional AFCI and parallel operation of up to 10 inverters.
